Fantech’s large manufacturing site for fans and acoustics comprises of a busy warehouse and offices.

The site incurred large lighting costs and the old lighting was sometimes uneven, which is the last thing you want when completing complex manufacturing work. Replacing failed lights was also time consuming and expensive.

Both Fantech’s warehouse and offices were retrofitted with over 300 LEDified lights. The warehouse’s new LED high bays, specifically designed to light up large spaces, have resulted in more vivid and even lighting conditions, delivering better visibility for handling complex tasks.

Overall, Fantech is expected to save over $30,000 a year in lighting costs and time consuming and expensive maintenance costs are no longer an issue because of the long life span of LEDified LEDs. The business anticipates to offset over 135,000Kg in carbon over the next 10 years.

As part of an energy reduction scheme, the management at Aspen Pharma were looking for ways to reduce their electricity consumption. That;s when they found out that upgrading to LED lighting would achieve the the greatest reduction in electricity usage, and so they decided to make the switch with LEDified.LEDified’s full service business model enabled Aspen Pharma to realise a fast return on investment and, to their delight, the upgrade achieved an even faster payback period than originally anticipated.

In addition to the significant annual savings, Aspen Pharma no longer have to budget for regular lighting maintenance, as LED technology has a longer lifespan, and the lighting conditions on the premises have become brighter and more pleasant for staff.

When the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) moved their offices to East Melbourne, they realised that the lighting in the premises was not up to standard so they approached LEDified for a LED upgrade that would improve their open office space.

The organisation needed to have the entire project designed and installed in less than two weeks to ensure that the moving plans were not disturbed.

LEDified replaced the fluorescent troffers with low wattage LED troffers that delivered a crisp clear light, ideal for their office environment. Needless to say, the results were recognised immediately.

Not only has the ARA saved thousands in lighting and maintenance costs, the new lights have improved the look and feel of their office, all while taking advantage of LEDified’s unique “on bill funding” option, which allowed the ARA to pay for their lighting upgrade with their monthly energy savings.

OfficeMax, in Richmond, Victoria, is a busy office space, stationed in an old brick factory building. Management decided to modernise the premises to create a brighter space that would be comfortable and productive for employees, while showcasing a progressive look.

LEDified’s cutting edge computer software determined optimum colour temperature and lumen output. The space, featuring a classic high glass ceiling, was obscured by old fashioned tubes, erected 3 meters above work stations, spreading light unevenly, leaving some spots on the office floor dim, while leaving other areas bright.

In collaboration with Red Socks design, LEDified erected High Bays with coloured reflectors, customised to match OfficeMax’s corporate colour scheme. The results were fantastic; the room feels spacious with natural light now entering the building in conjunction with the funky coloured high bays.

OfficeMax now saves over $19,000 a year on lighting and chose to pay with LEDified’s unique On Bill Funding option, which allowed them to pay for the upgrade with their energy savings. OfficeMax had not expected the building to look so amazing – the cost savings almost seemed incidental!
